As another year draws
to a close. It's time for all of us to think of how many of
last years New Years Resolutions we were able to keep. One
that I made was to find out the words to the Song Auld Lang Syne.
I'm happy to say after 43 years I will be able to sing the song at 12 midnight.

Robert
Burns
Should
auld acquaintance be forgot,
And
never brought th min'?
Should
auld acquaintance be forgot,
And
days o'lang syne?
For
auld lang syne, my dear,
For
auld lang syne,
We'll
tak a cup o'kindeness yet,
For
auld lang syne.
We
twa hae run about the braes;
And
pow'w the gowans fine;
But
we've wandered mony a weary foot
Sin'
auld lang syne.
For
auld lang syne, my dear,
For
auld lang syne,
We'll
tak a cup o'kindness yet,
For
auld lang syne.
We
twa hae paidl't i' the burn,
Frae
mornin' sun till dine;
But
seas between us braid hae roared
Sin'
auld lang syne.
For
auld lang syne, my dear,
For
auld lang syne,
We'll
tak a cup o'kindness yet,
For
auld lang syne.
And
here's a hand, my trusty fiere,
And
gie's a hand o'thine;
And
we'll tak a right guid willie-waught
For
auld lang syne.
For
auld lang syne, my dear,
For
auld lang syne,
We'll
tak a cup o'kindness yet,
For
aluld lang syne.
And
surely ye'll be your pint-stoup,
And
surely I'll be mine,
And
we'll tak a cup o'kindness yet,
For
auld lang syne.
For
auld lang syne, my dear,
For
auld lang syne,
We'll
tak a cup o'kindness yet,
For
auld lang syne.
